We are facing an identity crisis.

Especially since October 7th, the American Jewish community is watching, distraught, as the extremes grow louder and the center feels like it's shrinking — and leaving us behind. Yet there are still many who champion our values.

One of them is an exceptional, brilliant, young politician, Ritchie Torres. Congressman Torres has been a supporter of Israel since before he was elected to represent New York's 15th Congressional District. But especially since Hamas terrorists invaded Israel, murdering and kidnapping over a thousand Israelis, his has been a resounding voice of moral clarity. It takes considerable political courage — as evidenced by the deafening silence of so many others.

Rep. Torres joins me today to challenge the narrative around what's happening with the U.S.-Israel relationship in Washington and within the Democratic party — and reveal how much support we really have.
