The Light of Freedom

Last month at our synagogue's Spring Benefit, we honored Bari Weiss and Nellie Bowles with our Light of Freedom Award.

The founders of The Free Press, Bari and Nellie have made prodigious contributions to journalism and to a free and open exchange of ideas in this country.

During the evening's program, I sat down with them to discuss their new media company, their Jewish journey, and several of the central challenges facing the American Jewish community.
